Senior Account Executive (NY/NJ)
Join an industry giant and a staple of the Northeast distribution landscape for over 100 years. Our client specializes in high-end food service disposables, custom packaging, and janitorial solutions, serving the most iconic restaurants, hotels, and venues across the New York and New Jersey metro areas. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead market expansion.
This is a high-visibility "hunter" role for a sales professional who excels at opening doors with high-volume restaurant groups, luxury hotel chains, and large-scale catering entities.
Elite Compensation & Rewards
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (Based on experience)
- Commission: Uncapped & Aggressive.
- Earnings Structure: The first 12 months are salary-protected to allow for pipeline development. Year 2 transitions to a lucrative commission model where every $1MM in business equates to approximately $50,000 in additional earnings.

Core Objectives
- New Market Capture: Identify and secure high-value partnerships within the New York Metro and Northern NJ hospitality sectors.
- Full-Cycle Acquisition: Own the entire sales process—from strategic prospecting and initial onboarding to long-term consultation.
- Strategic Upselling: Drive deep penetration within accounts by introducing high-margin categories, including custom-branded goods and eco-friendly sanitation lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Drive aggressive growth through a combination of cold outreach, networking, and referral-based hunting.
- Consultative Selling: Act as a subject matter expert for clients, providing samples, market pricing insights, and sustainable product alternatives.
- Relationship Management: Maintain a high-touch field presence with key decision-makers to ensure long-term retention and "one-stop-shop" status.
- CRM Excellence: Utilize CRM tools to map out your territory and provide accurate sales forecasting for the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of high-stakes B2B sales experience. Candidates with a background in broadline food distribution or specialized packaging are highly preferred.
- The Persona: You are a "street-smart" closer with the professional polish required to pitch to executive-level hospitality groups.
- The Hustle: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding $1MM+ annual sales quotas.
- Logistics: Ability to report to our Bayonne, NJ hub for meetings, with the expectation of being in the field 4–5 days a week.
