In This Role, You Will
- Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
- Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
- Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
- Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
- Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
- Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
- Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
- Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
- Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
- Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
- Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively
- Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks
