Job Description
The Corporate Payroll Accounting Analyst I reports to the Corporate Payroll Manager. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for variety of operational, consultative and collaborative functions within the Corporate Payroll Systems timely preparation of Time and Absence, Payroll Benefits and Payroll Operations. In addition, this role works collaboratively with other payroll staff and outside departments in identifying and resolving CTM payroll concerns through Service Now tickets. This role assists in providing required documents for both internal and external fiscal year end audits by established deadlines. The Corporate Payroll Accounting Analyst I ensures accountability, quality and efficiency of resources and measures operational progress and results within the Payroll department. This role serves as a Workday Payroll Partner.
Additional Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related payroll experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience.
- Experience preferred at a large and complex organization.
- The ability to accurately make mathematical calculations; ability to solve problems in an on-line, real-time financial system and ability to audit information accurately and quickly.
- Must be able to apply policy and procedures to daily operations and possess the ability to communicate professionally through all forms of communication (phone, email, in-person and online messaging/meeting apps).
- Ability to multitask, produce results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and highly complex environment.
- Working knowledge of Workday software to include: Time and Absence, Benefits and retro pay calculations, reversals, manual and on-demand payments, payment plans, garnishments/withholdings/levies, deductions, tax elections, pay components, payment elections, etc.
- Analytic, communication and teamwork skills. Working knowledge of Excel (VLookup, pivots tables, filters, etc.) and other aspects of Microsoft 365 software.
