About the Company

We are a privately held, highly profitable e-commerce company with approximately $800 million in annual revenue, headquartered in the Columbus, Ohio area. We operate a leading national online platform dedicated to outdoor and hiking gear, connecting enthusiasts across the country with a carefully curated selection of apparel, footwear, technical equipment, and accessories for every adventure. Our company has built a strong national reputation and long-term stability while continuing to invest heavily in modern technology, scalability, and engineering excellence. You’ll join a collaborative team that is deeply passionate about the outdoors and the customers we serve.

Primary Technical Focus

This role leans front-end. While you will contribute across the full stack, the majority of your work will center on building and refining the customer-facing web and mobile experiences that power our platform. The following technologies are listed in order of priority:

  • .NET Core & Web API: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services that power front-end experiences, support integrations, and ensure platform reliability.
  • ORM — EF Core & Dapper: Write efficient, maintainable data access logic using Entity Framework Core and Dapper to interact with SQL Server databases.
  • .NET MAUI (Mobile): Extend our platform to iOS and Android through cross-platform mobile development, delivering a consistent experience for on-the-go customers.
  • JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, jQuery): Build dynamic, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for our e-commerce storefront, product catalog, and checkout flows.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end and full-stack features across our outdoor gear e-commerce platform using C#, .NET Core, Web API, React, Angular, jQuery, EF Core, Dapper, and SQL Server
  • Own the full software development lifecycle for your features — from requirements gathering and technical design through coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
  • Build and optimize customer-facing shopping experiences including product pages, search and filtering, cart, and checkout, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and UX quality
  • Develop cross-platform mobile features using .NET MAUI, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience on both iOS and Android devices
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to assess technical feasibility, define system design, and deliver solutions on time
  • Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code; conduct code reviews and contribute to team standards and best practices
  • Serve as a technical mentor for junior developers, sharing front-end expertise and helping elevate the team’s overall skill level

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience with meaningful front-end contributions
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core in a production environment
  • Demonstrated front-end experience building applications with React, Angular, and/or jQuery
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and ORM tools including Entity Framework Core and/or Dapper
  • Must currently reside in Ohio, Georgia, Florida, or Tennessee; U.S. work authorization required without sponsorship
