Group Leader – After School Program

Locations: Canton, Grafton, Hopkinton, Lexington, Medfield & Winchester, MA

About Us:

Kidsborough is a before- and after-school enrichment program with multiple locations throughout Massachusetts. We pride ourselves on being inclusive, supportive, and committed to providing a safe, fun environment for children-and a rewarding, team-focused workplace for staff.

Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and dependable Group Leaders to join our team. Group Leaders lead engaging activities for school-age children while fostering a safe and welcoming environment.

Work Hours:

Minimum of 2 afternoons per week required.

Canton – Two Locations

• Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

• Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM

Grafton – Two Locations

• North Street: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM

• Millbury: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM

Hopkinton

• Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM

Medfield

• Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Lexington– Six Locations

• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Winchester– Five Locations

• Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Lead enrichment activities (e.g., arts, music, drama, science, etc.)
• Support children’s academic and social development
• Ensure EEC health and safety regulations are followed
• Supervise and engage with children in both structured and free play
• Communicate effectively with families and co-workers

Requirements:

Per Massachusetts EEC regulations, candidates must be at least 18 and meet one of the following:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree and 3+ months experience with school-age children
• High school diploma or GED and 6+ months experience with school-age children (3 months must be supervised in a licensed program)
• 9+ months of experience with school-age children (3 months must be supervised in a licensed program)
