Tri County Economic Development District (TEDD) is a regional economic development organization serving Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille Counties in Northeast Washington. TEDD works in partnership with local governments, businesses, tribes, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders to advance economic vitality, infrastructure development, transportation planning, broadband deployment, business finance, and regional resilience.
The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of TEDD and is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, strategic direction, and management of the organization. The Executive Director works under the direction of the TEDD Board of Directors and is responsible for implementing board policies, managing organizational operations and finances, supervising staff, administering programs, developing partnerships, securing funding, and advancing regional economic development priorities.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

[Implements policies and directives established by the TEDD Board of Directors.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Develops organizational goals, strategies, work plans, and annual priorities consistent with TEDD's mission and regional needs.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Oversees preparation and implementation of the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Supports economic diversification, business retention and expansion, entrepreneurship, workforce development, tourism, infrastructure investment, and community revitalization initiatives.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Oversees TEDD-administered programs including EDA Planning District activities, ADO programs, RTPO activities, revolving loan fund programs, broadband initiatives, and grant-funded regional projects.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Coordinates grant administration, reporting, audits, reimbursement requests, and compliance activities.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Assists member jurisdictions and partner organizations with funding opportunities, grant applications, and project management when appropriate.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
[Develops and administers TEDD's annual operating budget and oversees organizational financial management.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
