We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Risk & Control Lead to join our Corporate Engineering Risk and Control team. This role is located in Pittsburgh
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for leading 1LOD engineering risk and controls agenda across specific Corporate Engineering domains, ensuring robust design and operating effectiveness for Issue Management, Vulnerability Management, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Partner with engineering leaders to proactively identify, quantify, and mitigate technology risk across; drive rationalization and automation of controls.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for issue remediation (root cause, action planning, execution, validation, closure), enforcing risk-based prioritization and policy-aligned SLAs.
- Establish executive ready metrics, dashboards, and reporting for Corporate Engineering senior leaders covering control effectiveness, risk posture, remediation progress, and trend analysis to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years in technology risk, engineering controls, or cybersecurity within large-scale, complex environments; financial services experience strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership owning 1LOD (or equivalent) outcomes for Issue Management, Vulnerability Management, and IAM, with deep familiarity across SDLC
- Demonstrated experience building control testing/assurance programs aligned to framework; strong tooling knowledge (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- People leadership: ability to influence senior stakeholders; drive disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and a culture of accountability.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
