Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Program Development: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Test Engineering (MFG TE) team to design, develop, and deliver robust diagnostic programs that ensure high-quality production standards for L6/L10 hardware.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Taiwan core team to implement and refine diagnostic programs, ensuring alignment with both technical and production requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of customer-reported issues, utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions in the diagnostic program or manufacturing process.
- Stress Testing: Develop and maintain stress testing programs to validate product durability under extreme conditions, identifying weaknesses and ensuring product robustness.
- Test Planning & Deployment: Develop comprehensive test plans based on the system's hardware specifications, ensuring that these plans are effectively deployed in manufacturing processes to validate the product's quality before release.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Python and Bash shell scripting, with a strong ability to develop and automate diagnostic testing processes.
- Linux Environment Proficiency: Familiarity with the Linux environment, including system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Hardware Knowledge: In-depth understanding of server hardware architecture and protocols, allowing for accurate development of diagnostic programs tailored to specific hardware systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to both hardware and software, ensuring smooth diagnostic processes in manufacturing environments.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with various internal teams, including hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless program development and issue resolution.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: A proactive approach to resolving customer-reported issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Experience in hardware validation, stress testing, and manufacturing test program development.
- Familiarity with industry-standard diagnostic tools and frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of production testing environments and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
