ASP.NET Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ASP.NET Developer with 5 years of professional experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications using ASP.NET technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications using ASP.NET technologies.
• Work on application enhancements, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
• Develop and integrate Web Services and APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC).
• Ensure secure and reliable deployment of applications on IIS Web Server.

Technical & Functional Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and solution implementation.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and deployment-related issues.
• Maintain and optimize SQL database structures and queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients for issue resolution and technical support.

Team & Communication

• Coordinate with team members on project deliverables and timelines.
• Handle client correspondence professionally and effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
• Maintain professionalism in high-pressure or dispute situations.

Technical Skills & Requirements

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET and .NET technologies.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET WebForms, and Visual Basic .NET.
• Good command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL.
• Understanding of Web Services and API integration techniques.
• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and RPC architecture styles.
• Knowledge of IIS Web Server configuration and deployment practices.
• Understanding of networking protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, and FTPS.
• Good understanding of database concepts and query optimization.

Additional Skills

• Experience with SharePoint will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
