Position Summary
The Installation Technician is a hands-on field role responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining Blue Line Solutions’ public safety and traffic enforcement technology across customer sites nationwide. This role requires strong technical aptitude, mechanical skills, and the ability to travel extensively to support new deployments, system upgrades, and service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assist with deployment of traffic enforcement and public safety technology systems.
- Perform on-site equipment mounting, wiring, and system setup.
- Support system testing and validation to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist with troubleshooting installation-related issues.
- Work closely with Construction, Field Service, and Engineering teams.
- Follow safety protocols and installation standards at all job sites.
- Travel nationwide to support installations, redeployments, and service needs.
- Document installation work and provide field updates as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in field installation, construction, electrical, or technical support roles.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

- Experience with low-voltage systems or outdoor installations
- Public safety, traffic, or infrastructure-related experience

Pay
$23.00 – $25.00 per hour
