Job Description

An employer in the Melbourne, FL area is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a direct-hire role supporting mission-critical programs. This individual will serve as a technical subject matter expert, helping define technical and programmatic requirements and designing software solutions that enable new capabilities. Responsibilities include hands-on troubleshooting across local and cloud environments, analyzing system failures, and implementing effective software solutions. The role supports in-house and third-party software testing, contributes to platform management and documentation, and operates within an agile development environment emphasizing strong cybersecurity practices. The developer will collaborate with customers to gather and document application requirements, support cloud migration efforts, and contribute to software development, testing, and deployment across multiple domains.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer
• Experience with Python, Go, Java, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
• Cloud computing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire)
• Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible) within the last 2 years

Compensation

$115,000 - $125,000
