🔥 "Squeeze Me": We’re looking for the most creative mind to design a retail experience you’ll want to touch. ivyclip is a young hair accessory brand from Munich. We’re expanding into retail and need someone who can showcase our products in a way that makes customers stop in their tracks and reach out to grab them. Tasks Our hair clips are different: They’re flexible, indestructible, and feel incredibly good. Once you’ve held one in your hand, you won’t want to let it go. Our retail presence needs to convey exactly that feeling. We’re looking for a freelance designer to develop two things for us: 1. Packaging design for retail - Retail-ready packaging that works on a hook or shelf in a drugstore - A premium look that stands out from the mass market but doesn’t look overdressed - Our USP “Squeeze Me” as a tactile and visual element in the packaging - The customer should be able to feel and press the clip THROUGH the packaging 2. Floor display (floor stand) for retail - Freestanding display, approx. 140–160 cm, compact footprint (max. 40 × 40 cm) - 6–12 SKUs (various clip models and colors) - Integrated tester zone: Clips to touch, press, and bend; “Squeeze Me” as the central call-to-action - Tool-free assembly/disassembly (store staff set it up themselves) - Must be refillable and durable What matters to us - “Squeeze Me” is the centerpiece. Everything revolves around the desire to touch our clips and experience their flexibility. This must be evident in both the packaging AND the display. - Premium, yet accessible. We’re not a luxury brand, but we’re not a mass-market product either. Think: Aesop meets Glossier meets the dm shelf. - Understand retail reality. You know what a drugstore looks like, how the light falls, how little space there is, and how 2 seconds can decide whether someone buys or walks away. What we expect from you - Concept development: ideas, sketches, mood boards - 3D renderings (photorealistic, print-ready for our pitch deck) - Packaging designs as print-ready files - You think in terms of experiences, not just pretty pictures Qualifications - Experience with packaging design and/or retail display/POS design - Portfolio featuring beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG projects - Proficiency with 3D tools (Blender, KeyShot, Cinema 4D, etc.) and packaging software (Illustrator, InDesign) - Ideally, experience with the German retail sector (drugstores, food retail) - You are creative, quick, and able to work independently
