Within the After Sales division, the Customer Care department focuses on initiatives and processes that strengthen customer satisfaction, service quality, and the overall brand experience. To support the growth of the European business and the increasing complexity of customer care initiatives, BYD is seeking a Customer Care Project Management professional based in Budapest, Hungary.
This role will lead and coordinate strategic projects within the Customer Care area, ensuring that initiatives aimed at improving customer experience are effectively designed, implemented, and delivered across the organization.
Role Objectives And Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and drive projects within the After Sales Customer Care domain, with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conceptualizing and developing Customer Care initiatives, translating business needs and customer experience objectives into structured projects.
- Managing projects end-to-end, including planning, timeline definition, progress monitoring, and delivery of expected outcomes.
- Coordinating cross-functional collaboration across multiple internal departments such as AS Operations, AS Technical team, Systems, Purchasing, and other relevant teams.
- Facilitating alignment and commitment among stakeholders, negotiating priorities and ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Designing and defining operational processes required to implement new initiatives and ensure their successful deployment.
- Engaging with external partners or suppliers when necessary, coordinating their contribution to project activities and deliverables.
- Communicating project goals, progress, and outcomes clearly to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Monitoring project status and performance, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks and proposing solutions to maintain project momentum.
Professional Experience
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or similar roles.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
- Previous exposure to the automotive industry is highly valued.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, navigate complex situations, and align different teams toward common goals.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to structure ideas and transform them into actionable projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling presentations and visual materials.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation design tools, with the ability to create professional and impactful documents.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Chinese language skills will be considered an advantage.
