Sales and Operations Engineering is part of IS&T and drives the technology behind Apple's global operations, sales, and supply chain. The team connects the systems that move products from factory to customer - bridging sales platforms with the operational infrastructure that keeps Apple running at scale and ensuring Apple's technology and business priorities move in lockstep.

We are looking for people with consistent record of running complex cross functional projects under demanding timelines. This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in building strong relationships with stakeholders, requirement analysis, functional and technical design discussions, driving project deadlines, and communicating project status to senior leadership.

Description

We are looking for a highly creative, detail oriented Engineering Project Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Apple enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail on par with Apple's high standards, coupled with a technical understanding of building scalable, transactional web applications and the ability to translate business process needs to functional and technical requirements. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, be a pro-active solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. Finally, curiosity, outstanding project management best practices, attention to detail, and a proven track record of influencing and collaborating across the organization are key qualities required to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage multi-million dollar project budgets and resourcing.

See around corners to identify and mitigate program risks

Work closely with business to drive the direction of requirements and roadmaps

Remove team impediments and solve challenging project delivery issues

Drive quality across the project; in usability and experience from requirements, technical design reviews, testing and more.

This demanding position requires a hands-on, get-the-job-done, attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management.

Excellent communication, leadership, documentation and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to present confidently to senior leadership.

Experience developing user requirements and roadmaps along with business partners

Proven talent for building strong, trust-based relationships with cross functional teams and tough stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to drive technical aspects of interactive web projects, internal systems and supporting processes.

Innovative and creative thinking capabilities with sharp troubleshooting skills.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

10+ years of experience successfully completing/delivering projects utilizing an Agile methodology at Scale.

Comfortable with rapid development cycles and tight schedules.

High ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on leader.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,300 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
