As a Requirements Engineer, you will play an important role in translating complex regulatory and business requirements into clear, structured, and implementable reporting specifications. You will work closely with business, functional, and technical stakeholders to ensure end‑to‑end alignment, data lineage transparency, and consistent validation across the reporting lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Understand data requirements from a content (wealth management, banking) and technical perspective and drive data discovery, sourcing and analytics for the creation of reports in Oracle and on Google Cloud Platform.
- Liaise with all parties (Business, IT delivery team) involved to ensure successful delivery.
- Research in banking platform and databases, constructing complex SQL queries across data categories such as banking & investment products, transactions, performance.
- Prepare functional specifications including data selection criteria to developers; and perform testing of the results.
- Design appropriate data quality controls and ensure their implementation.
- Analyze reported issues in the database as well as source systems (e.g., for erroneous data, missing data) to detect functional issues. Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, demonstrated ability to cooperate with a variety of people
- Experience in IT data analysis, data warehouse principles, SQL as well as understanding of PL/SQL, cloud database (BigQuery / CloudSQL / etc.)
- Good knowledge of bank products, services and processes. Banking area is Wealth management, hence knowledge in the typical products HNW clients hold as well as associated transactions and data attributes is required (shares, bonds, funds, loans, deposits, FX, derivatives), client / account static data, etc.
- Solid and proven expertise in core banking platforms, such as Avaloq or comparable, from a functional and technical perspective.
- Ability to write data mapping, data dictionary and data transformation documents.
