About The Role
As a Business Intelligence and AI Lead in the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB), you will accelerate data-driven decision-making by supporting advanced analytics and reporting, leading AI initiatives from concept to deployment, evaluating AI solutions to ensure business value, and enabling reliable digital and data pipelines that connect key systems across the organization.
You will report to the Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence & Strategic Programs. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver a portfolio of AI and analytics initiatives that measurably improve sales, operations, and customer experience.
- Translate business problems into actionable data products (dashboards, models, automations, and self-service insights).
- Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics, prioritize use cases, and drive adoption through change management and enablement.
- Establish scalable, governed data pipelines that improve data quality, availability, and trust across WPB.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI capabilities to optimize business processes, improve forecast accuracy, increase targeted sales, and enhance supply chain and operational performance.
- Build and maintain executive-ready analytics and reporting (e.g., Power BI) that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Design, implement, and operate scalable data pipelines and data products using Databricks and related tooling; ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability.
- Partner with business leaders and SMEs to discover high-value use cases, define requirements, establish success metrics, and drive adoption.
- Evaluate vendor and internal AI solutions (including GenAI) for fit, risk, scalability, and ROI; recommend a path forward and lead pilots/proof-of-value efforts.
- Establish lightweight AI governance practices (data privacy, responsible use, model performance monitoring) aligned to company standards and a regulated environment.
- Deliver and improve internal and external digital experiences (websites and B2B marketplace platforms) that support customer needs, compliance, and brand quality.
- Apply agile project management practices to plan work, manage dependencies, and deliver incremental value on a predictable cadence.
- Create documentation, plans, and training that enable self-service analytics and improve data literacy across the organization.
- Provide quality assurance and testing support for new analytics, automation, and AI-related tools to ensure stability and positive user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics/Math) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in project execution and data analytics, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Experience translating business goals into analytics and AI roadmaps.
- Experience leading AI/analytics initiatives end-to-end (use case discovery, requirements, delivery, adoption, and measurement).
- Data storytelling skills—able to turn complex analyses into clear executive-ready insights and recommendations.
- Experience building and operating governed data pipelines and data products (e.g., Databricks) with strong data quality mindset.
- Strong reporting and visualization skills (Power BI, DataBricks); familiarity with KPI design and dashboard best practices.
- Experience evaluating AI solutions (including GenAI) for value, scalability, and risk a plus; experience running pilots/proof-of-value
