Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY, for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will manage all aspects of payroll processing, including administering payroll systems, ensuring compliance with relevant payroll tax laws, and handling garnishments. The role is also focused on maintaining accurate payroll records, troubleshooting payroll discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of employee wages. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to enhance payroll operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Payroll Administration, Payroll Processing, and Payroll Services
- Knowledge and experience with Garnishments and Payroll Taxes
- Strong understanding of compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Proficiency in payroll software and relevant tools; familiarity with systems such as ADP or similar platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) are preferred
- Prior experience in real estate or property management payroll operations is advantageous
Pay
$65,000 to $70,000 per year
