Research & Developement Specialist

The Research & Development Specialist is responsible for developing new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring that all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role involves conducting research, performing product trials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support innovation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and formulate new products based on market trends and business requirements
• Conduct product testing, trials, and evaluations to ensure quality and consistency
• Improve existing products in terms of taste, cost-efficiency, and shelf life
• Perform research on raw materials, ingredients, and competitor products
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of formulations, processes, and test results
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teams for product launch and improvement
• Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on feedback
• Assist in scaling up products from laboratory to production level
• Manage timelines and resources for multiple R&D projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
• With at least 13 years of experience in product development or R&D (food industry preferred)
• Knowledgeable in food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Good communication and teamwork skills
