Qualifications
- Degree in related technical discipline or an equivalent combination or education, work experience and training
- Minimum 2-3 years of direct experience working in the A/V field
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in audio video support
- Knowledge of related audio video hardware and software
- Experience with all aspects of installation, maintenance and engineering including video conferencing, auditoriums, amphitheaters and conference room build-outs
- AMX, Crestron and Extron programming experience preferred
- Professional certifications are a plus with CTS certification preferred
- Proficient in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and basic networking skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Participate in site surveys and needs analysis meetings and generate equipment lists based on those needs
- Design integrated audio visual, video-conferencing and broadcast systems
- Read and interpret blue prints, drawings and schematics and work with engineering software to build, re-work, and edit systems designs
- Consult with project managers and clients to complete the installation of customized audio visual systems
- Ensure consistency of build-outs by working with internal teams and room integrators
- System set-up and troubleshooting and the ability to train staff in equipment use
