Confidential General Manager / Operating Leader
South Florida | Multi-Location Field Services Business
The Opportunity
We are conducting a confidential search for a senior operational leader to help scale and strengthen a growing, route-based residential services organization in South Florida.
This is not a polished corporate environment looking for a caretaker.
This is an opportunity for a strong leader who can lead distributed field teams, improve execution, develop managers, create accountability, and scale a recurring revenue business in a fast-paced operational environment.
The business operates across multiple locations with a large frontline workforce and recurring customer base. The next leader will play a critical role in improving operational consistency, strengthening leadership capability, enhancing employee retention, driving customer experience, and building scalable infrastructure to support future growth.
We are specifically seeking leaders who have successfully operated within:
- home services
- route-based operations
- recurring revenue service businesses
- field-driven operational environments
- multi-location service organizations
Experience within private equity-backed businesses or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
This role requires someone who can balance strategy with execution.... a leader who is comfortable in the field, close to the operation, and capable of driving accountability while building trust with employees and managers alike.
The ideal candidate is operationally sharp, people-oriented, decisive, and resilient. Someone who knows how to navigate complexity, improve systems and processes, and build strong teams without losing sight of customer experience and frontline culture.

What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of operational leadership experience in route-based, recurring revenue, or field-services environments
- Strong background leading multi-location teams and frontline workforces
- Experience scaling operational businesses while improving structure, accountability, and execution
- Proven ability to develop managers, strengthen culture, and improve retention
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, evolving environments where priorities shift and hands-on leadership matters
- Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to connect people, process, and performance
- Experience in home services, residential services, facilities services, pest control, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, pool services, waste, uniform services, or adjacent operational industries strongly preferred
- Private equity or portfolio company experience preferred
- Executive-level leadership experience (VP, GM, President, COO, or similar) preferred
- Must reside in or have strong familiarity with the South Florida market
