We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead a small team while directly supporting and maintaining a complex, multi-site IT environment. This role, based in the Metro Vancouver Area, and combines infrastructure ownership, technical execution, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead a small team of Help Desk support.
  • Administer infrastructure: Fortinet firewalls, endpoint security, Windows/Linux, Active Directory.
  • Manage virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Parallels) and SQL Server (ERP support).
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, security).
  • Perform hands-on work (hardware, cabling, data center support).
  • Manage vendors, budgeting, and IT operations.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong in Fortinet, Microsoft 365, AD, virtualization, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Hands-on mindset with ability to lead a small team.


Certifications

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert (required).
  • Fortinet NSE 4+ preferred.
  • VMware/Nutanix, Security+, or ITIL are assets.


Compensation and Benefits

  • $90,000 to $110,000.
