- Coordinate activities with other Engineering Division or District personnel, and with various aspects of Engineering and Construction Division program activities relative to overall expenditure of appropriate funds allocated to the Division.
- Identify processes for improvement and coordinates for the development of integrated automation systems for effective management of a wide variety of civil and military works design and construction projects.
- Perform continuous review and analysis of manual control and reporting systems.
- Identify similarities and differences in the program funding, cost systems and performance measurements and identifies required programming changes needed to create consistent management processes and automation systems.
- Review policy, guidelines, legislation, administration policy and Executive Orders; reviews activities and programs of Federal, State, and local entities which impact on Corps or District activities
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required
- Must possess a valid State motor vehicle operator's license for the class of vehicle being operated based on site specific, job related requirements, and must maintain this license.

Specialized Experience GS-0343-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: coordination and execution of assigned portions of program planning and analysis for Division programs; formulating, preparing, and updating budgets to meet anticipated expenditures and established obligations/expenditures goals and objectives; and collecting and analyzing funding data to prepare a variety of reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
