Manageability & Telemetry Architecture Lead
Indexed description
Role Summary
Define and lead end-to-end manageability, observability, and telemetry architecture—from board-level signals to rack and POD-scale systems. Member of the CTO Architecture team, with ownership of manageability and telemetry architecture and product definition.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect telemetry frameworks across system layers (silicon → board → system → rack → data center)
- Define manageability capabilities (monitoring, control, diagnostics, firmware interfaces)
- Enable real-time visibility into performance, power, thermals, and reliability
- Partner across platform, firmware, and customer teams to integrate telemetry into system design
- Define standards for data collection, aggregation, and analysis
- Support customer-facing capabilities for system observability and fleet management
- Establish observability as a core system design dimension, not an afterthought
- 10–15+ years in system manageability, telemetry, or platform software/firmware
- Strong understanding of hardware/software interfaces (BMC, firmware, sensors, telemetry pipelines)
- Experience with data center-scale monitoring and control systems
- Ability to define architecture across multiple system layers
- Background in hyperscale or enterprise infrastructure preferred
- Work across multiple silicon and technology ecosystems
- Architect systems from concept through global, rack-scale deployment
- Engage directly with hyperscaler and AI-native customers
- Operate at the intersection of platform design, manufacturing, and scaled deployment
