Role Description

The Peer Review Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Vernon, WA. The role involves facilitating the peer review process to ensure quality and compliance in patient care, collaborating with healthcare providers to analyze patient cases, and maintaining accurate records of peer reviews. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, coordinating with medical staff for case discussions, and supporting the implementation of quality improvement plans. The coordinator will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards for patient safety and care quality.


Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and quality assurance policies
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and maintenance of accurate records
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare quality assurance or peer review coordination is a plus
