TLS is the corporation’s hub for simulation, X reality, live-virtual-constructive capabilities, advanced training devices and full-service training programs. TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment.
THE WORK
This is a position for a Systems IT Engineer on F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) as part of the Operational Baseline Integrated Product Team (IPT).
As a key member of our Systems IT team, you will:
- Perform hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple IT components
- Manage system integrity, availability, and cyber compliance of networked systems
- Assist in the development of solutions across components of systems through design, integration, implementation and support
- Participate in phases of software and hardware development, leveraging our DevOps engineering processes and procedures while performing respective engineering activities
- Collaborate with other program personnel, participating in cross functional Agile teams

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.
Note: This role will require domestic and international travel (up to 30%). Candidates will be asked to obtain a DoD IAT Level II certification within 3 months of their start date, if you do not already have a certification.

Desired Skills
- DoD IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE)
- Knowledgeable in information systems networking
- Knowledge and experience with scripting (Ex. Windows(PowerShell)/Linux(shell scripting)
- Experience working with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates
- Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
- Application/Software: GIT, McAfee, Nexus, Ansible
- Experience in configurations mgmt. of packages and patches, version control and service packs
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
