Building Operations Engineer 18 MONTHS FIXED TERM

Note: This is a fixed-term role for 6 months with possibility to extend for additional months.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead maintenance team while managing HVAC systems, plumbing, gypsum work, painting, carpentry, and hardware installation
- Create and maintain planned maintenance regime for client assets while following up on landlord-planned maintenance activities
- Respond to trouble ticket requests within agreed SLAs while managing unplanned maintenance activities
- Manage building operations stock including bulbs, filters, and power supplies while overseeing local supplier base for maintenance and repairs
- Track utility usage and create innovative environmental impact reduction ideas while liaising with regulatory bodies and safety groups
- Oversee Building Operating and Maintenance manuals while conducting site inspections with Facility Team members
- Manage Moves/Adds/Changes including desk assignments, furniture stock ordering, and occupancy tracking
- Handle small project management including budget and activity plans for site improvements, refurbishments, renovations, and expansions
- Coordinate with Deskside/IT, Global Telecom, Global Security, Global A/V teams, and security guards when present
- Experience leading maintenance teams in corporate or similar environments
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, gypsum work, painting, carpentry, and hardware installation
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory maintenance requirements and contract management
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with customer-focused approach and attention to detail
- Previous experience in high-profile corporate environments with proven people/team management experience
- English and computer applications skills (Office, Corrigo, etc.)
- Availability to support weekends/bank holidays as needed (rare but required)
- Ability to manage building operations stock and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Diploma/degree level in technical discipline
- Electrician license (preferred but not required)
- Experience with Amazon or similar technology company environments
- Background in small project management and budget planning
- Knowledge of utility tracking and environmental impact reduction initiatives
- Familiarity with Building Operating and Maintenance manual management
- Understanding of health and safety compliance including fire drills and safety equipment
- Experience with purchase order management and supplier coordination
