Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive
Location: Ilion, NY 13357 (Hybrid during training then fully remote)
Salary: $50,000-$60,000 + uncapped commissions

Position Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities while also managing and retaining an existing client portfolio. This is a highly proactive, field-based sales role focused on building strong relationships and delivering customized commercial insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Schedule and conduct client meetings to assess needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and tailored insurance solutions
- Close new business consistently while meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing support and account servicing
- Develop partnerships with referral sources such as real estate professionals and lenders
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve marketing and production goals
- Maintain a disciplined, results-driven approach to daily sales activity
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with personal and/or commercial lines products (preferably within Property and Casualty)
- 2+ years of outside or field sales experience
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in processing transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Licensing Requirement
- Active Department of Insurance Property & Casualty License (required)
