D365 F&O Technical Lead

We are seeking a D365 F&o Technical Lead is responsible for the technical design, development, and support of the organisation’s D365 F&O platform. The role ensures that the system supports global finance, supply chain, and international trade operations while maintaining high standards for development, integration, and system performance.

The Technical Lead works closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and third-party partners to deliver scalable and reliable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions within D365 F&O.
• Provide guidance and oversight to developers and technical consultants.
• Review technical designs, code, and system integrations.
• Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Development and Customisation

• Design and develop custom solutions using X++.
• Implement extensions and customisations within the D365 framework.
• Manage code repositories, builds, and releases through Azure DevOps.

Integrations

• Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O and external systems.
• Work with APIs, data entities, and integration services to support system connectivity.
• Support integrations with logistics, banking, and third-party platforms where required.

Data and System Management

• Support data migration activities during implementation or upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure appropriate security and system controls are in place.

Business Collaboration

• Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support ongoing system improvements and enhancements.
• Provide technical input to project planning and delivery.
