About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Product Lead to own product across SCRYPT's institutional surfaces - Client Portal, Custody, Settlements, Asset Management UI, and the internal operations platform that runs them.

You'll partner with the Head of Engineering and the CEO to translate product vision into shipped product. You won't be inheriting a roadmap to maintain - you'll be defining what gets built next, why, and how it differentiates in the institutional digital asset space.

This is a senior IC role with leadership scope. You own the product surface end-to-end. You are not waiting for a CPO above you.

The Bar

Small team, senior bar, AI-native by default. We hire builders who ship, not managers who maintain. One great hire beats three average ones, so we hold the bar even when the seat is empty. Key responsibilities

• Own SCRYPT's product roadmap across the Client Portal (trading, custody, settlements, treasury, DeFi access) and the internal operations platform
• Translate institutional client needs - banks, asset managers, family offices, fintechs - into product requirements that engineering can ship
• Partner with the Head of Engineering on prioritisation, sequencing, and trade-offs against the platform rebuild
• Own customer discovery: client interviews, usage data, sales feedback loops, churn analysis
• Drive product reviews, ship demos, and own the product narrative inside and outside the company
• Define and track product metrics - adoption, retention, feature impact, revenue contribution
• Hire and lead a small product team as the function scales (Senior Product Designer pipeline already in motion)

Job requirements

Experience

8+ years in product management with at least 4 in financial infrastructure, institutional crypto, prime brokerage, custody, or B2B payments

Track record

Has owned and shipped institutional products end-to-end. Can defend the product calls made - features killed, surfaces rebuilt, customer signals interpreted

Domain depth

Understands how institutions actually use crypto infrastructure - counterparty risk, custody segregation, settlement workflows, treasury operations, trade execution

Operating mode

AI-native. Comfortable using AI tooling for discovery, specification, PRD writing, and design exploration

Languages

Fluent English required
