What you'll do:We're looking for a Backend Product Engineer to build and evolve the products that power Gilion's AI-driven agentic platform - making sure they're performant, scalable, and ready for what's next.
- Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and infrastructure
- Own systems end-to-end: architecture, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Collaborate with other teams to ship robust features
- Integrate with agentic workflows and LLM orchestration layers
- Help shape our backend architecture and technical direction as we scale
- 4+ years building and scaling backend systems in production
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar - with solid API and service design skills
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalability tradeoffs
- Experience shipping features cross-functionally with frontend, data, or ML teams
- Product-minded: you balance delivery speed with long-term quality and care about end-user impact
