This position is an in-person job at our corporate office in north Scottsdale off the 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. The schedule is 9 am- 5 pm Monday-Friday. Minimal in town travel between our warehouse in North Phoenix and the corporate office will be required.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation aligned in both paper and electronic files.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Helps to support compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while also working collaboratively with adjacent departments.
- Ability to remain flexible and effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for 2-8 hours per day.
- Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person, over the telephone, and virtual video communication applications.
- Visual ability sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Associate’s degree in human resources, Psychology, or related field preferred
- 3 years minimum experience in Human Resources Assistant or Coordinator role required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License & clean motor vehicle report, 21 years of age as required by insurance to drive.
- Successfully passes the 60-day probationary period where all credentials are completed, and orientation metrics are met.
