We are partnering with a leading real estate private equity firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management, seeking an experienced Fund Manager / Fund Operations professional to support the day-to-day oversight and execution of fund activity.

This role is ideal for someone currently working in fund management within a similar investment firm who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and operating across fund accounting, reporting, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee ongoing fund operations and administration across multiple real estate investment vehicles
  • Prepare and manage quarterly investor reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Coordinate and execute capital call notices and distribution notices in accordance with fund documents
  • Manage cash flow activity (cash-in / cash-out), including monitoring liquidity needs and ensuring timely movement of funds
  • Execute investor distributions, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on schedule
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party administrators to ensure proper fund accounting and reporting integrity
  • Interface with external legal counsel to review fund communications, notices, and documentation for compliance
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to partnership agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with ad hoc fund-related analysis and operational initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in fund management, fund accounting, or fund operations within a private equity, real estate investment, or similar alternative asset manager
  • Prior experience handling capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting required
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, waterfalls, and partnership agreements
  • Ability to operate in a hands-on, lean environment, taking ownership across multiple operational areas
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with third-party administrators and external service providers
  • Comfortable collaborating with legal counsel and internal stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus
