We’re hiring a Lead Python Developer to become one of the first technical hires on a newly launched DeFi trading initiative backed by an established, profitable quantitative trading company. This is a rare opportunity to build mission-critical infrastructure from scratch - with real capital, real P&L, and real ownership. Your Impact: Extend and scale Python-based trading infrastructure Build integrations with DeFi protocols & smart contracts Design real-time pipelines for on-chain & market data Develop microservices for automation and strategy execution Create internal tooling & monitoring systems Optimize performance, latency and reliability Potentially introduce Rust for latency-sensitive components Leverage AI developer tools to increase productivity Full ownership - from architecture to deployment.
