We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving our global customer acquisition strategy, leading a talented marketing team, and expanding our footprint in both core and secondary international markets. This is a critical role that combines long-term strategic planning with hands-on operational execution to meet ambitious growth targets.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with ClickSend's long-term business objectives.
  • Team Management & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to ensure performance targets are consistently met.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring the team is effective in its execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Customer Acquisition: Oversee search budget, optimizing spend across a range of digital channels (including Google, LinkedIn, Stack Overflow) to drive customer acquisition in our primary and secondary markets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and execute strategies to accelerate customer acquisition and expand ClickSend's reach into both core markets and emerging growth regions.

To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience as a senior marketing leader (Head of Marketing, VP of Marketing, or similar) within a B2B SaaS or technology company with an SMB customer base.
  • Hands-on experience managing, coaching and mentoring a multidisciplinary marketing team.
  • A strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning with the demands of day-to-day operations.
  • Track record of driving high-volume inbound acquisition across paid, earned and owned channels, with a short sales cycle, via self-serve or low-touch business model.
  • Experience diversifying beyond SEM: organic growth, affiliate or partner programs, co-marketing, and event-driven pipeline.
  • Demonstrated success building and protecting brand in a competitive market, including positioning, messaging, and brand consistency across channels.
  • Expertise in managing significant digital advertising budgets and driving global customer acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong analytical instincts: comfortable owning CAC, MQL/pipeline targets, and channel-level ROI with a bias toward action
  • Experience with partnerships and ecosystem marketing as a growth lever, not just an afterthought.
