About the position

Joining RaySearch as an IT Specialist, you will be part of our extraordinary service team. This role lies within our service and support team in China but includes much interaction and collaboration with the APAC team and with the central service department located at the headquarters in Stockholm. Your primary responsibility will be to handle technical support and installation issues for both current and potential customers.

Work tasks will include planning, implementation, and support of RaySearch products, including the IT environment where they are hosted, to ensure accurate product evaluation and clinical operation.

In addition to the role of supporting customers, you will be involved in pre-sales activities, answering IT related prospects questions and creating/discussing customer IT solutions. You may also be required to participate in customer IT trainings on-site or remote.

You will be working with:
  • Planning, implementation and support for our software products, and the IT environment where they are hosted, to ensure accurate product evaluation and clinical operation
  • Supporting customers remote and on-site
  • Actively be involved in pre-sales activities like answering IT related prospects questions and creating/discussing customer IT solutions
  • Participate in customer IT trainings, onsite or at remote training locations
Your profile

In order to be successful in the role you should be used to working in a dynamic environment and have good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English. We are interested in flexible, meticulous and structured people who are service minded, positive and social. It is essential to have ability to take initiatives and work independently and proactively.

Experience & skills:
  • Experience from IT service related field
  • University degree in relevant technical field
  • Some kind of background in computer science
  • Some kind of experience in cyber security
  • Familiarity in pre-sales discussions and proposal process including responding to RFI’s/RFP’s.
  • Experience of customer support, including direct customer communications – written and verbal
  • Experience in MS SQL databases (install, configure, maintain), up to MS MSQL Server 2016
  • Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016. Active Directory administration is preferred.
  • Virtualization solutions like Citrix XenAppand VMware ESXi
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Ability and interest in travelling
  • Experience from working in an international environment

It’s an advantage, but not required, if you have worked in the medtech industry before, and if you have experience of working with Python, HL7, DICOM.

Location and Travel

You are expected to work from your home office and you will be expected to travel to support our customers in all over China. Occasional travel to other customer sites in APAC region and to our head office in Stockholm is also expected. The amount of travel will be around 30%.
