Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer (Next.js | AI-Native)
Indexed description
The Opportunity
This role is for engineers who don’t wait for fully defined specs. You take rough ideas, shape them into working products, and ship.
You’ll be building systems used in complex, real-world environments where speed matters, but so does judgment. The expectation is simple: take ownership from 0→1 and beyond — define the approach, build it, iterate, and get it into production.
AI is already part of the workflow here — across development, debugging, and delivery. You won’t be experimenting with it; you’ll be expected to use it to move faster while still understanding every decision you make.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll operate across the full stack, building production-grade applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, designing APIs, and working directly with stakeholders to shape solutions.
This is not a segmented environment. You’ll debug issues wherever they sit — frontend, backend, or infrastructure — and you’ll be expected to make pragmatic trade-offs to keep things moving.
A big part of the role is taking ambiguous problems and turning them into shipped features. That includes structuring the architecture, making decisions quickly, and iterating based on real usage.
What Matters
- You’ve spent 5+ years shipping production systems and know what “done” looks like
- You’re strong with Next.js and React and comfortable owning the full stack
- You’ve built and worked with APIs and relational databases in real environments
- You’ve taken products or features from 0→1, not just maintained existing systems
- You already use AI tools in your workflow to speed up development — and you know where they help and where they don’t
- You’re comfortable working autonomously, without constant direction
The Environment
You’ll be working in a small, high-trust team where engineers are expected to think, not just execute. There’s close collaboration with product and leadership, but no unnecessary layers or process.
If you prefer clearly scoped tickets, slow iteration cycles, or staying within a single layer of the stack, this won’t be the right fit.
Location, Contract & Rate
Remote - UTC/GMT +4 hours - required
3–6 month B2B contract, with potential to extend or convert
$8,000-$10,000 pcm
Why This Role
You’ll be building systems that actually get used — not internal tools that never leave staging. The work sits in environments where decisions have real impact, and where speed and quality both matter.
It’s also a chance to work in a start-up environment.
