Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise IPO and ECM transactions, including listings and secondary equity offerings
- Oversee due diligence, prospectus preparation, valuation, and transaction documentation
- Ensure full compliance with Hong Kong regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Lead IPO pitching, mandate acquisition, and coverage of listing candidates and repeat ECM clients
- Maintain senior relationships with issuers, regulators, investors, sponsors, and professional advisers
- Act as a Responsible Officer, providing supervision, governance, and regulatory oversight
- Mentor junior team members and support team development
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance on regulatory submissions, inquiries, and audits
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ investment banking experience, with strong ECM and IPO focus
- Proven track record of leading Hong Kong IPOs and ECM transactions, having completed minimum 2 deals as a Signing Principal
- Thorough knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, IPO sponsor requirements, and SFC regulations
- SFC Type 1 and Type 6 RO licenses
- Strong issuer advisory, client coverage, and marketing skills
- Excellent judgment, communication, and presentation abilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
