VP/SVP, Signing Principal Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise IPO and ECM transactions, including listings and secondary equity offerings
• Oversee due diligence, prospectus preparation, valuation, and transaction documentation
• Ensure full compliance with Hong Kong regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Lead IPO pitching, mandate acquisition, and coverage of listing candidates and repeat ECM clients
• Maintain senior relationships with issuers, regulators, investors, sponsors, and professional advisers
• Act as a Responsible Officer, providing supervision, governance, and regulatory oversight
• Mentor junior team members and support team development
• Work closely with Legal and Compliance on regulatory submissions, inquiries, and audits

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ investment banking experience, with strong ECM and IPO focus
• Proven track record of leading Hong Kong IPOs and ECM transactions, having completed minimum 2 deals as a Signing Principal
• Thorough knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, IPO sponsor requirements, and SFC regulations
• SFC Type 1 and Type 6 RO licenses
• Strong issuer advisory, client coverage, and marketing skills
• Excellent judgment, communication, and presentation abilities
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
