The Role:

We’re partnering with a highly regarded IT consultancy delivering complex transformation and engineering projects across enterprise clients, with a strong focus on the financial services sector.

They’re looking for a Senior / Lead Fullstack Java Engineer to take ownership of modern, business-critical systems while acting as a senior technical voice across projects.

This role combines hands-on engineering, architecture influence, client interaction, and technical leadership — ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges while mentoring others and driving engineering quality.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders, consultants, and development teams to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions across the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the development of modern fullstack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and modern frontend technologies

• Drive technical architecture and design decisions across client projects

• Act as a senior technical contact for clients and internal stakeholders

• Build scalable, production-ready systems within enterprise environments

• Mentor and support developers within agile project teams

• Translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions

• Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and development processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong commercial experience with Java / Spring Boot

• Fullstack expertise with technologies such as Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks

• Experience leading technical initiatives or acting as a senior engineer within project environments

• Background in consulting, enterprise delivery, or client-facing engineering roles

• Experience within finance, banking, or fintech environments is highly beneficial

• Strong understanding of software architecture, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices

• German C1+ (mandatory) and strong English skills

• Based in or open to working within the Frankfurt region
