Job Overview
Drive E2E seller growth across Korea, Japan, and China Taiwan by leading seller recruitment, seller management, and ecosystem development to unlock market opportunities, scale GMV, and build a high-impact expansion network.
Essential Functions of the Job
• Design and execute a high-performance recruitment roadmap to identify, qualify, and engage with targeted sellers. Define market-specific value propositions to ensure a solid pipeline that aligns with Walmart Marketplace demand.
• Enable sellers’ capability and capacity to drive GMV and improve contribution profit. Architect and maintain growth playbooks and success stories tailored to target markets; standardize growth formulas to ensure scalable and repeatable success.
• Identify and establish strategic relationships with key local channel partners. Partner closely with Ads and Logistics teams to integrate their solutions into the seller value proposition, building a seamless and comprehensive growth journey.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Define clear KPIs, foster a growth mindset, and build team capabilities in market analysis, business negotiation, and account management to support long-term goals.
• Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting seller performance. Analyze business trends, diagnose root causes, and create actionable plans for operational improvements.
• Closely work with the Trust and Safety team on compliance standards. Identify high-risk items and help sellers/partners understand Walmart standards to ensure healthy, sustainable growth.
Global Job Description Accountabilities
• Identify key business opportunities for the Walmart Marketplace and manage toward a growth plan to scale GMV and build a high-impact expansion network.
• Meet or exceed quotas, revenue targets, and operational metrics. Measure seller/channel performance and capacity regularly to ensure long-term business health.
• Advocate on behalf of Sellers and external stakeholders to influence the product and market roadmap. Assist internal partners to drive change and remove roadblocks.
• Maintain close relationships with sellers and channel partners, communicating changes in policy, process, or market trends.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of proven experience in Cross-border E-commerce.
2. 2+ years of people management experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
3. Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
4. Proven ability to manage large amounts of data, diagnose performance issues, and formulate actionable growth plans.
5. Able to take charge of time and action plans globally across offices.
6. Able to work under pressure, take full ownership, and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
7. Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean is highly preferred.
