As a Logistics Coordinator within the Engineering Facility team, you will support logistics processes that enable engineering. This includes ensuring reliable material flow, maintaining efficient warehouse operations, and supporting engineering activities through structured and scalable logistics solutions.
The role requires close collaboration with engineering, facility operations, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability, process reliability, and alignment with project timelines.
What You'll Do
Support in Develop, implement, and maintain logistics processes aligned with engineering and site-specific requirements using and adapting existing solutionsSupport inbound logistics activities, including supplier coordination, delivery scheduling, and goods receipt verificationCoordinate outbound logistics for engineering materials, prototypes, and project-related shipmentsEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials (HazMat) handling, packaging, and documentationCoordinate non-Production Material (NPM) warehousing, including inventory control, storage organization, and material trackingMonitor and optimize material flow across the facility to enable efficient engineering operations and reduce bottlenecksCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, facility operations, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with project timelinesIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalabilitySupport logistics readiness for new projects, equipment installations, and engineering activitiesWhat You'll Bring3+ years of experience in logistics operations, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environmentsExperience managing inbound and outbound logistics processes and coordinating with suppliersStrong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, and inventory managementKnowledge of hazardous materials regulations (e.g., UN, ADR, IATA)Experience with ERP or logistics systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms)Familiarity with lean logistics, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in automotive, aerospace, or technology-driven environments is advantageousExperience supporting engineering or prototype logistics is beneficialFamiliarity with TMS, WMS, or similar logistics tools is a plusAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing prioritiesStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills in English; German language skills are a plusWe will accept applications for this job until May 19, 2026, after which this posting will be removed.
