Full time position, Monday through Friday, day shift. 46 week work year. PTO and Benefits available.
We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in providing quality food service to students and staff while leading a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations for two a school K-9 district.
- Create school menus in compliance with USDA and district guidelines.
- Order and manage USDA foods and commodities.
- Place and manage orders through multiple food vendors.
- Plans, prepare and supervise meal service operations.
- Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and support efficient kitchen operations.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Attend professional development and training programs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Prior school food service management experience preferred.
- Cooking experience required.
- ServSafe certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational and Communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for trainings.
- Availability to work early mornings.
