If you’re passionate about building offline-first, secure, and scalable mobile solutions, this might be the opportunity for you. 🗓 Start date: September 2025📆 Contract type: Contractor, Remote, Indefinite🌐 Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.30 pm PST 🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing Designing and developing forms-based, offline-first applications with Expo + TypeScript, ensuring reliable sync with RESTful backends. Implementing secure authentication flows (OAuth) and local storage solutions (Async Storage, Secure Storage) to safeguard user data. Building responsive layouts that scale across multiple devices, including tablets and medium-format screens, to enhance user experience. Prototyping and delivering proof-of-concepts, then evolving them into robust production-ready apps. Collaborating with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs (and future GraphQL endpoints), while maintaining code quality through PR reviews and CI/CD pipelines. ✅ What You Need to Succeed Must-haves 5+ years of professional mobile development experience. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the Expo ecosystem. Proven track record with offline-first architectures and remote sync. Experience with navigation, routing, deep linking, and responsive layouts. Solid knowledge of list performance optimization, animations, and UI consistency. Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams. Advanced/Bilingual English. Nice-to-haves Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Repos, Projects, Pipelines). Exposure to Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Event Grid. Experience with GraphQL or Claude Code.
