What You’ll Work On
- Prepare and support project layouts, manage project graphics, and coordinate printing, plotting, and distribution of design documents.
- Work closely with technical staff and clients across multiple Fishbeck offices to support consulting services for municipal, university, land development, and utility projects.
- Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary project teams in a dynamic, multi‑office environment.
- Participate in all phases of the design process—including early design, permitting, final design, and construction support.
- Assist in updating CAD standards, drafting details, and civil department graphics.
- Continue developing professional skills and stay current with future software upgrades.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical coursework in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcMap GIS for civil engineering projects.
- Familiarity with large‑format printers and plotting equipment.
- Knowledge of CAD standards and drafting procedures.
- Strong time‑management, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with municipal utilities, road design, stormwater systems, or university projects is preferred; Civil 3D grading experience is a plus.
