Job Description Columbia University, School of Professional Studies (SPS) seeks candidates to serve as a part-time Lecturer to teach an on-campus graduate-level course in Introduction to Blockchain, Crypto-currencies & Analytics. This course provides our Applied Analytics Master of Science degree students with an introduction to blockchains and crypto-currencies as well as cryptographic protocols, hash, digital signatures, chaining of blocks of transactions, decentralization using mining based on proof of work, and smart contracts.

Requirements
Doctoral degree in an area related to applied analytics, computer science, or information technology Solid knowledge and academic foundation in statistics. Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Proficiency in R and Python programming. Professional experience and demonstrated success in a role involving applied analytics, crypto, blockchain, etc. Preferred Skills & Experience 10+ years of professional experience in analytics-focused roles. 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally at the graduate level.
