The Role: Lead Account Management – Chemical Market (Bulk & Photo Chemicals)
ENTEGRIS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Manager who will lead sales growth and market penetration for Entegris’s chemical market business in Korea, with a primary focus on bulk chemical and photo chemical markets. This role requires deep semiconductor chemical market expertise and strong customer engagement capabilities. The position is based in Suwon, Korea.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and market share growth for Entegris’s chemical market product portfolio in Korea.
- Act as a core member of the account team to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities using Entegris’s value-selling process, leading the Discovering, Advocating, and Supporting phases.
- Closely collaborate with account managers dedicated to Samsung and SK Hynix material teams to ensure successful qualification and business closure.
- Own and manage customer evaluations to ensure flawless execution and professional communication of technical and business value aligned with customer needs.
- Provide appropriate technical, application, and product support during customer chemical qualification activities.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Field Application Engineering, and R&D to drive new product penetration at key customers.
- Work with global and local teams to promote and execute Continuous Improvement Initiatives that enhance performance and efficiency of existing solutions.
- Participate in Most Valuable Opportunities (MVO) projects and deliver on promotion and penetration targets.
- Conduct regular customer meetings to identify needs and propose account strategies in alignment with key account managers.
- Train customers and internal colleagues on chemical process solutions, applications, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, especially semiconductor chemical market, including strong knowledge of bulk chemicals and photo chemicals.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or project management roles.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, preferably across both memory and logic (LSI) sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean.
- Strong project management, customer engagement, and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Ability to deliver persuasive presentations and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and customers.
- Existing network within major Korean semiconductor manufacturers (Samsung, SK Hynix, foundries, etc.) and chemical manufacturers is a strong plus.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, a winning mindset, and consistent performance in a fast‑growing environment.
- Strong customer focus with an ability to understand chemical-related needs and deliver solutions that drive satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Capable of balancing complex goals across service level, cost efficiency, and operational safety.
- Ability to influence cross-functional and cross‑cultural teams to drive change and achieve business results.
