Sales Manager, Automotive

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate automotive projects with Hyundai / Kia and related customers, from opportunity identification to serial application
  • Manage regional key accounts while taking a hands-on role in domestic automotive project management
  • Maintain and develop long-term relationships with OEMs, Tier‑1, and OES customers in Korea
  • Short-, mid- and long-term account penetration
  • Product positioning and selling
  • Constant monitoring of actual vs. planned PNS developments and implementation of respective counter-measures in case of deficiencies
  • Market research to identify future growth prospects and active approach of such accounts / market segments
  • New product promotions, customer training, technical and supply services
  • Specification / approval work at direct and indirect customers
  • Regular communication and information exchange with counterparts in other countries and in HQ (e.g. BU)
  • Implementation of pricing strategies
  • Cross border demand coordination and forecasting
  • Overseas business supports including customer visits for Korean OEM/OES

What you will need

Educational level & Certifications

  • B.A. degree / graduated degree or equivalent
  • Preferred in Engineering or Chemistry
  • English fluency & Native Korean

Experience

  • Min 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Knowledge on technical & sales
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) or in a comparable customer-facing role
  • Hands-on experience managing domestic automotive projects in Korea
  • Experience working with OEMs, Tier‑1, or OES customers
  • Solid understanding of technical and commercial aspects
  • Network in the relevant business field will be preferred
