Backend Software Engineer
📍 San Francisco | Full-Time

What You’ll Do
- Build scalable backend systems powering AI-driven video workflows
- Develop APIs, distributed systems, and real-time data pipelines
- Work closely with research, product, and design teams on new features
- Improve reliability, observability, and performance across core infrastructure
What They’re Looking For
- ~5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and experience with cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, FastAPI, and CI/CD
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale data processing
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in generative AI or media/video platforms
- Startup or high-growth company background
- Familiarity with asynchronous workflows and ML infrastructure
How are you compensated?
- $200K–$250K base salary + equity
