Team Lead Account Executive (SMB / Mid-Market) — Berlin


We are currently hiring a Team Lead Account Executive (SMB / Mid-Market) on behalf of one of our international SaaS customers in Berlin.


This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven SaaS professional who wants to combine hands-on sales execution with team leadership responsibilities in a fast-growing international environment.


About the role

This is a highly operational sales leadership role focused on leading from the front. You will manage and coach a small team of Account Executives while remaining deeply involved in deals, pipeline management, forecasting, and outbound strategy execution.


The role sits within the DACH business and plays a key part in driving growth across the SMB / Mid-Market segment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of 3 Account Executives
  • Drive pipeline generation and outbound sales performance
  • Support deal progression and closing activities
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline
  • Maintain high execution standards across the sales process
  • Collaborate closely with senior commercial leadership
  • Contribute to the continued scaling of the DACH business


What we’re looking for

  • Fluent German and professional English
  • 5+ years of SaaS sales experience
  • Strong closing track record
  • Experience in fast-paced SMB / Mid-Market sales environments
  • Hands-on, lead-from-the-front mentality
  • Strong coaching and sales execution capabilities
  • Operationally strong with forecasting and pipeline management
  • Comfortable working in an international environment


Previous leadership experience is considered a plus, but strong individual contributors looking to step into their first leadership role are also encouraged to apply.


Nice to have

  • Outbound and pipeline generation expertise
  • Experience within Martech, CRM, or adjacent SaaS sectors
  • Previous mentoring or team lead experience
