#AboutYourTeam

We are forming a new internal engineering team focused on building modern web platforms and automations that support critical business operations across Deloitte Greece and the broader Central Mediterranean region.

Our mission is to design and develop secure, scalable, and user-friendly internal applications, owning the entire software development lifecycle — from initial requirements and architecture to development, deployment, and continuous improvement.

The team will initially focus on internal platforms and workflow automation, working closely with business units such as compliance, risk, and operations.

#AboutYourRole

As a Junior Full-Stack Web Engineer, you will work on real, production-grade internal applications with a strong emphasis on both frontend and backend development. You will be guided by senior engineers while gaining hands-on experience across the full stack, learning how enterprise-grade systems are designed, built, and maintained. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want to grow fast, understand how real business systems work, and develop a strong engineering foundation.

#KeyResponsibilities

  • Develop web applications with a focus on usability, performance, and maintainability
  • Contribute to backend APIs and services supporting business workflows and data processing
  • Implement user-friendly frontend interfaces that translate complex processes into intuitive experiences
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, support)
  • Follow best practices for code quality, version control, documentation, and security.

#RequiredSkills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Python
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend principles
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and backend frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Django, Flask)
  • Basic experience with Git, APIs, and development workflows
  • Willingness to learn, take ownership, and build production-quality software

#PreferedSkills:

  • Exposure to React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Basic experience with Docker or containerized environments
  • Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Personal or academic projects demonstrating full-stack development
