About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on client leadership role. You’ll own a portfolio of Genero’s strategic North American accounts — deepening client relationships, growing and expanding them and personally leading the delivery of high-quality social, creator and content production work.
You’ll be the senior point of contact for your clients and the creative teams who make the work happen — leading creative direction on briefs, managing production end-to-end, and ensuring every program ships on brief, on time, on budget and on creative standard.
You’ll build senior and strategic relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their businesses and challenges and positioning Genero as a long term embedded solution, identifying and converting organic growth opportunities.
This position is based out of our NYC office on a hybrid schedule. The salary for this role is between $130,000 - $170,000 USD and is dependent on experience.
About You
You’re a senior client operator who knows how to build long-term relationships and deliver outstanding work. You’ve managed complex content programs end-to-end and have a genuine point of view on creative quality, production craft and what makes social and creator content land.
You’re commercially sharp without being transactional — you know expansion follows from value, not pressure — and you’re equally comfortable in a senior client conversation, on a production set, and in a strategic planning session. You blend creative judgement, commercial discipline and operational rigor, and you bring genuine curiosity to your work.
What You’ll Do
- Own the strategy, growth and retention of a portfolio of Genero's most important enterprise accounts in North America, carrying a clear annual revenue and retention target.
- Build and deepen senior-level client relationships across marketing, social, content and brand teams, becoming the trusted partner clients turn to for day-to-day delivery and bigger strategic conversations.
- Drive year-over-year organic account growth through scope expansion, new brand or business unit penetration, additional services and retainer uplift.
- Lead end-to-end production on key client programs - creative development, pre-production, shoot, post and delivery - setting the creative bar across your portfolio.
- Brief, manage and get the best out of Genero's creator and production network across video, short-form, photography, creator-led and always-on production.
- Bring genuine social, creator and platform expertise, advising clients on social, influencer integrations and creator-led campaigns and building content programs for paid and organic performance.
- Run disciplined account and project operations across your portfolio — forecasting, planning, finance and risk — partnering with Creative Strategy, Production, Operations and Client Services to ensure flawless delivery.
What you’ll bring
Must haves
- 7+ years experience in a senior client-facing role within a creative or social agency, brand, production studio, or social platform environment, with demonstrable account leadership and production delivery experience.
- Deep, hands-on production expertise across video, short-form, ATL and creator-led content — with a credible point of view on creative quality and craft.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex enterprise client relationships — multi-stakeholder, multi-brand, ongoing programs.
- Strong evidence of organic account growth — spend uplift, scope expansion, multi-year retention.
- Expert fluency in social and creator: platform dynamics, native content formats, the creator economy, and how creativity is built for paid and organic performance.
- Strong commercial confidence: structuring retainers, pricing, scopes, renewal proposals and SOWs in close partnership with internal teams.
- Exceptional consultative client skills, negotiation and stakeholder management — confident operating with senior marketing, social and content leaders within enterprise organisations.
- Disciplined account and project management — strong forecasting, planning, finance and operational rigor.

- Existing senior relationships within North American enterprise clients and key platform partners (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Amazon).
- Experience scaling performance-oriented or always-on content programs for enterprise brands.
- Background in a high-growth, scale-up, or founder-led environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, creative production or digital media.
